Thursday 14th July – CWL Stage 2 Finals: Preview • Call of Duty Betting

We’re finally here. It’s time for the Call of Duty World League Stage 2 Finals. Today we’ll be giving a overview of the event, and where we can expect to see the best odds appearing over the weekend. This time around, we’ve got a total of 4 days of CoD action. We’ll be starting off with Europe and North America on Thursday, leading with the regional heavyweights Splyce, Millenium, Team EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming. Come Friday, the action really kicks off with all 3 regions sporting full days of play. Let’s take a look at which teams made it into the finals from ANZ, Europe and North America:

ANZ

Orbit ANZ
Mindfreak
Chiefs eSports Club
iMmunity

EU

HyperGames
Millenium
Splyce
Infused
Synergy
Epsilon

North America

EnVyUs
H2k Gaming
Cloud9
Rise Nation
FaZe Clan
Dream Team
Luminosity Gaming
OpTic Gaming

The first matches we’ll be seeing are Splyce vs Supremacy, Epsilon vs Millenium, EnVyUs vs H2k Gaming and OpTic Gaming (1/33, Skybet) vs Luminosity Gaming (10/1, Skybet). This isn’t one of our tips articles (that’ll be coming tomorrow), but it’s worth remembering that OpTic have a bit of a shaky LAN record, as well as the fact that Luminosity are 1-1 against the Green Wall in stage 2 of the CoD World League. We might tip our hat to Luminosity at those odds, and we’d certainly avoid putting much money on OpTic. Also remember that sites like Skybet allow you to bet map by map, so if you have faith in Luminosity in a certain gamemode, that might be worth taking a close look at. Moving into Friday, the current matchups we have lined up include Rise Nation (1/7, Skybet) vs Cloud9 (4/1, Skybet) and FaZe Clan (1/5, Skybet) vs (10/3, Skybet). We’ll be weighing in on these tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that. You can catch all of tomorrow’s action over on twitch.tv/callofduty, youtube.com/callofduty, or over on MLG.tv with their “Enhanced Viewer Experience” which will feed you some interesting stats alongside the stream to help out with your bets. As you can tell, Skybet are looking to be the best stop for odds this week, but be sure to check Bet365 and Ladbrokes too to make sure you’re getting the best value around.
